Four Friends, One Dream

THE DREAM

Dan always enjoyed getting together with friends to play sports, whether it was high school football or wiffle ball at the Cochituate Ball Field on a spring afternoon. For Dan and his high school classmates, creating WayCo was a dream in the making. When Dan passed away in March 2008, his friends and family looked to WayCo as one way to keep Dan’s dreams alive.

With the help of many people in and around the Wayland community, WayCo has brought athletic activity to over 340 Wayland players over the last five summers. While he may not be here, Dan’s spirit is very much with us and his legacy to the young people of Wayland endures.

THE REALITY

WayCo has grown to include two leagues with hundreds of participants and created countless memories.
